FORSTER CUP
Limited to players with handicaps not under 13 and not exceeding 20 at time of entry.
Those players over 20 may play from a 20 handicap. Players who entered when a 13 handicap but are now less may play from their correct handicap.
At PRUDHOE GOLF CLUB,
on Saturday, June 2nd, 2012.
FIRST PRIZE: Challenge Trophy (to be held by the winner for one year) and Prize Value £100.
SECOND PRIZE: Value £60. THIRD PRIZE: Value £40.
Entrance Fee:- £10.00 per player, which must accompany the entry.
Competitors will play 18 holes stroke play and the player returning the highest number of Stableford Points shall be the winner. Ties will be decided by the rules in the County Handbook.
The Union reserves the right to restrict the number of entries.
No entry fee will be returned once the draw has been published.
DRESS: Competitors wearing Jeans, Tee-Shirts, Shorts, or Trainer Shoes will not be allowed on the course, and the Host Club dress rules will apply within the Clubhouse.
NO SIT ON BUGGIES PERMITTED unless over 80 years of age or with a medical certificate stating an inability to walk 18 holes.
QUALIFICATION OF COMPETITORS:- To be eligible to compete a player
(a) Must be eligible to play in the competitions of his Club.
(b) Must be a member of an affiliated Golf Club in Northumberland or must have been born in Northumberland and be a member of an affiliated Club in another County.
(c) Inactive handicaps are eligible to play but may not win a prize. Please put inactive if inactive.
