COUNTY SENIORS CHAMPIONSHIP
FOR PLAYERS OF 55 YEARS AND OVER WITH A HANDICAP LIMIT OF 20
Players over 20 handicap may enter but must play from a 20 handicap.
At
ROTHBURY GOLF CLUB,
Wednesday and Thursday, July 25th and 26th, 2012.
The top 15 gross scores qualify for the 2nd round on the Thursday.
A tie for 15th place will be decided by Rule 4h. ( Card play off over last 9,6,3,2,1 holes in that order)
THE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE PADDY BAKER ROSE BOWL.
Best gross score over 36 holes.
In the event of a tie there will be an aggregate play off over the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd holes. If still tied sudden death will determine the winner over the same three holes.
THE RICHARD JOHNSON TROPHY
Best gross score for the over 65’s.
TIM BULL CUP
Best net score over the 1st 18 holes.
There will be two prizes for the best gross scores over 36 holes and two prizes for the best net scores over the first 18 holes. No player may take more than one prize.

ELIGIBILITY: Players must have been born in Northumberland or be a member of an affiliated Northumberland Club and have not played in a Championship of another County the same year.
DRESS: Competitors wearing Jeans, Tee Shirts, Shorts, or Trainer Shoes will not be allowed to play and the dress rules of the Host Club will apply.
BUGGIES: No sit on buggies permitted unless over 80 years of age or with a medical certificate showing an inability to walk 18 holes and they must be permitted by the Host Club.
ENTRIES: An active handicap must be certified by the player’s home Club and entries close on Saturday, July 7th. Players with an inactive handicap may play but may not take a prize. No entry fee will be refunded once the draw has been published. Entry fee of £10 payable to The Northumberland Union of Golf Clubs should be sent to:-
