Affiliation fees for 2012 are NUGC £3.50 and EGU £6.25. Both the English County Card and the Over 65's County Card will be available as from the end of March to participating Clubs.
It is becoming alarming that more players are claiming illness and not going out to play a second round in a 36 hole competition if they have had a poor score in the first round. This is not acceptable as players who enter a 36 hole competition are contracted to play 36 holes. It is expected in future that players who do 'cry off' the 2nd round will visit the doctors surgery the next day and produce a medical certificate to say they could not compete.
Please do not send cash for any entry for a County Event. I will not be responsible for any cash through the post that goes missing.
The Fixtures for 2012 and 2013 are now with all affiliated Clubs.
Please do your best to avoid putting your scratch events on if they clash with a NUGC scratch competition.
The next Meeting of the Executive Committee will be on Monday, March 26th, 2012, 7.00 pm at The Northumberland Golf Club.
