Arcot Hall Golf Club kindly hosted the Seniors County Championship on 14 and 15 June.

In a keenly contested event with over 60 entrants, it was Steven Findlay from The Northumberland Golf Club who came out on top by 2 shots from Steven Anderton and Paul Taylor. Congratulations to Steven, who will head to Woodhall Spa in September to compete in the Seniors Champion of Champions event.

The RW Johnson decanter (best gross for over 65’s) was won by Alan Ross from The Northumberland Golf Club.

The Tim Bull trophy for the best nett on day 1 went to Kim Steward from Hexham.

The quarter finals of the Matchplay will be played by 30 June. The semi finals and final will take place on 8 July, with the winner receiving the Mike Fleming Trophy.
